My Dear Kursk and Its Beautiful Flower Fields

As it turns out that Russian nature amazes me every single time with each of its season. Our favourite season will be spring as we gladly say our ‘da svindanya’ to the cold temperatures and often greeted with beautiful flowers.

Here we are going to share with you the location and how to reach these amazing picturesque floral fields.

Sunflower Fields at Kislino. Take bus number 91 and ride until the last stop. walk further for a few minutes and the field will be right in front of you.

Chamomile Fields that are located just in the outskirts of Deriglazova. Take any bus that goes to Deriglazova and get down at the final stop. Walk further until you see a ‘KURSK’ signboard. Turn left and walk 10 metres ahead. The field will be on your left.

Take a taxi(~230 rubles) to Gribnaya Raduga, Chaplygin st.,122 (Mushroom Factory). walk ahead and find a pathway into the forest on your left. Keep following the track until you reach the end of the pathway and enter among the trees. Sea of lupines will be located down the hill.

Corn fields are not something you encounter everyday, but this gem is located in the Zolotukhino region of Kursk. Fastest way there is to take a mashrut from Dubrovinskogo to Shetopalovo at 6.20am or 3.20pm and exit at 1-Ya Vorobyovka. climb up the hill and just a few meters away from Fet museum will be the fields.
